8. Big Wool Knits

Whether its cable knits or the cheesy knitted Christmas sweater from your grandma at the back of your closet, you can't go wrong with Big Wool Knits this Winter! A very basic crème knit will do the trick if you're a little on the conservative side of fashion or want an easy classic (not that being conservative is at all suggested). However, if you look at the A/W Fashion Shows this year, the more bold, the better!

This knit to the right is a great example of a solid basic knit, nothing too outrageous but a great look from the London A/W 2013 show by designer Richard James.

My favourite two bold knits this season come from Armani (Milan) and James Long (London).
James Long shows one of the common Christmas style knits which are becoming increasingly popular. Great not just for Christmas but a cold Winter day. Armani on the other hand shows their boldness with colour. A recurring theme this season has definitely been very bright colours and the bright blue Armani knit is a personal favourite. A knit of any kind is a Winter essential and they don't have to be designer either. My main knit this Winter will be a $36 Christmas style crème and blue sweater from a Melbourne opshop! So go out and get one if you don't have on in your wardrobe!

Thanks for reading as always! And check back tomorrow for another post!
