2. Double-breasted

The man himself, John F Kennedy
(cheeky you, not like that)

Okay so my second of 20 trends for winter is double breasting whether it be in suits or overcoats.
This was a big feature over the major international A/W fashion weeks this year and personally I think Burberry Prorsum's collection showcased why double-breasting is emerging once again. Double breasting showed up in the psychedelic 60's, the days of JFK, a man who's style was always immaculate in my eyes. Before it became a sign of 80's Italian gangsters. However, right from it's arrival on the fashion scene double-breasting has always been an extra sign of class and elegance and was never truly forgotten!

Personally I think that Burberry Prorsum's collection released in Milan earlier this year may have done the best job showing off the longed return of doubling breasting.

Showing it in a some what formal suit.
And a more casual overcoat.
The picture above with the more casual overcoat is actually one of my favourite from all of the A/W collections shown this year around the world as not only does it cover the trend of double-breasting but one of the key colours for the season (camel) and the rising look of animal prints with the shoes, but more on those over my next posts until winter!

Thanks for reading!
